don-newDon Soard

Don spent his childhood in Central Oklahoma. His family is his first priority and consists of Shelley, his wife of 29 years; two daughters, one son, and a son-in-law.  When it comes to hobbies, he enjoys scuba diving, traveling and an occasional game of golf.

Upon college graduation, Don began a 20-year career in local church ministry.  While on church sabbatical he then accepted an opportunity to assist Veterans of War with the Aid & Attendance benefit. He quickly discovered the needs of our country’s Veterans and became committed to this ‘ministry’ of a different kind.  Don was honored and recognized by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States in August 2009 with the “Certificate of Appreciation for “Outstanding Service to the Veterans and their families in the Great State of Oklahoma.”
